Conceptual Art Workshop
Discover your Artist’s voice.
In this 6 week class we will explore how to create a conceptual series with a sense of visual unity; and connect ideas, thoughts and feelings with clay forms.
Each week will prompt a new idea/discussion around your own series of ceramics projects, allow for studio time to work on individual pieces, and include critique from instructor and classmates.
The focus will be on individual work but will touch on building a portfolio and how to write an artist statement.
At the end of the 6 weeks, we will have a gallery night to show off completed works to studio mates and friends/family.
This class is ideal for artists wanting to further their knowledge of conceptual art, learn gallery etiquette, apply for art programs, or just try something new with their pottery practice.
